APLICACION DE VECINDARIO

The City of Sedona has joined Denver, Portland, Fort Collins, Lakewood, and Wheat Ridge as the newest member of the Sustainable Neighborhoods Network!

Program Overview:

For City of Sedona Residents only
Sola para residentes de la ciudad de Sedona

Do you want to see your community and city become more sustainable? Do you want to be more connected with your neighbors? Are you a problem solver and a team player? Well, we have an amazing opportunity for you!

The City of Sedona's Sustainability Department has launched the Sustainable Neighborhoods Pilot Program. Sedona's Les Springs neighborhood as been selected as the first community to participate. We are looking to have one more neighborhood join the program in 2024. Please see the links at the top of this page to access the neighborhood application. Review this information to learn what makes a good application.

Sedona’s Sustainable Neighborhoods Program gives our residents a new opportunity to put their passion of sustainability and fighting climate change into action!

Neighborhoods that participate in this program will first develop a core leadership committee with their neighbors. The leadership committee will then plan and execute their own neighborhood projects, workshops, and learning sessions throughout the year(s) with guidance and support from experienced city staff to ensure your success! Neighborhoods are encouraged to engage as many of their neighbors as possible. Take a look at the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program brochure to view potential project ideas!

All neighborhood activities must fall under five key categories of Energy, Land, Air, Water, and People. Neighborhoods will receive in-person recognition by City Council, recognition on the city website, and may also have a sign constructed outside your neighborhood highlighting your efforts!
